FOOD & TRAINING

Eat for the week you actually have.

Nutrition becomes more practical when it supports training, work, sleep and the social life around all three.

A plate is a planning tool

Rather than assigning moral value to individual foods, look at the shape of the whole day. Meals with a dependable source of protein, fiber-rich carbohydrates, colorful produce and satisfying fats can make energy easier to manage. Hydration also deserves attention in Indonesia’s warm climate, especially when training outdoors.

Before movement

Choose food you digest comfortably and allow enough time for the session. A small snack may be more useful than a large meal.

After movement

A normal meal with protein and carbohydrates can support routine recovery without turning the moment into a complicated ritual.

Across the day

Regular meals, familiar ingredients and adequate fluids often matter more than a perfect calculation.

Questions before changing a diet

  1. What does your current pattern already do well?
  2. Is the proposed change affordable, culturally comfortable and possible on busy days?
  3. Could a symptom reflect medication, illness or another reason to speak with a qualified professional?
Good nutrition advice should make a person more observant, not more anxious.

Make the next meal ordinary

Consistency grows from choices that can be repeated. Keep a short list of meals you enjoy, learn which foods travel well and notice how different portions affect training comfort.
