Accessibility statement

Updated 5 October 2026. Primula aims to make editorial reading usable across screen sizes, input methods and assistive technologies.

This statement covers the Primula website and its locally controlled interface. It describes current practices rather than a claim that every third-party destination is accessible. Improvements are prioritized by reader impact, including access to policies, articles and contact routes.

1. Our aim

We use readable contrast, semantic headings, keyboard-friendly links and descriptive image alternatives where images are present.

Headings are intended to follow a meaningful order, links describe their destination and interactive controls should have an understandable name. Text remains the primary way information is communicated, so an image is not the sole source of an important instruction. We review these basics during routine editorial updates.

2. Navigation

The header and footer provide consistent routes to primary content and policies. Mobile navigation can be opened with the menu control.

Readers should be able to move through links with a keyboard and close or reopen the mobile menu using its labeled control. The footer repeats policy and contact routes so a reader does not need to return to the top of a page. Browser zoom and responsive layout are considered during page checks.

3. Text

Readers can resize text through browser controls. We avoid relying on color alone to communicate meaning.

Paragraphs use a readable line length and headings separate topics. We aim to preserve contrast against the off-white and charcoal palette, including links and focus states. If text becomes clipped or overlaps after zooming, please report the page and browser used.

4. Forms

Contact fields have labels and required information is identified by the browser.

Labels are placed close to their controls, and the success message should be understandable without relying on color alone. Readers can request an alternative contact route if a form is difficult to complete. Do not include passwords, identity documents or detailed medical records in a feedback message.

5. Motion

The site does not depend on autoplay video or rapid animation for meaning.

Any interface transition is intended to remain brief and non-essential. Readers who experience discomfort, delay or unexpected movement should be able to use the page content without waiting for an animation. Third-party media may have different controls and is covered by its own provider.

6. Images

Editorial images include specific alternative text. Decorative treatment is kept separate from essential copy.

Alternative text describes the subject and relevant context rather than repeating a nearby caption. Images are not intended to replace article text, and content images are sized responsively to avoid unnecessary scrolling. If an image description is unclear, tell us the page and the phrase that needs improvement.

7. Known limits

Third-party pages linked from Primula may not offer the same level of access.

Older documents, embedded services or external research pages can use different markup, captions or keyboard behavior. Primula cannot directly change those systems, but can review whether a link remains useful and provide a plain-text explanation where practical. This limitation does not remove the responsibility to improve Primula-controlled pages.

8. Feedback

Tell us about a barrier through contact.php or call +62 857 2049 1386.

Include the page address, the task you were trying to complete and the assistive technology or browser involved if known. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information. Feedback is used for accessibility improvement and is handled under the privacy policy.

9. Response

We aim to acknowledge accessibility feedback within 30 days and record meaningful fixes.

Where a barrier affects an important route, we will assess whether a practical alternative can be offered sooner. Some changes require testing across browsers or a third-party fix. We will explain the status when a complete fix cannot be made immediately.

10. Review

This statement is reviewed during the 2026 editorial cycle and updated when the interface changes.

The 5 October 2026 review records the current navigation, text, forms and image practices. Future updates will show a new date and describe material changes rather than silently replacing the statement.

Accessible presentation includes readable contrast, meaningful headings, descriptive link text, keyboard-operable controls and alternatives for information that is not available as text. Images used on editorial pages should include useful descriptions where the image conveys meaning, while decorative images should not create unnecessary noise for assistive technology. The site may still contain older material that needs review as templates or content are updated.

Readers can report a missing label, keyboard barrier, caption issue, contrast concern, focus problem or unclear document by contacting Primula at Jalan Anggrek Merah 27, Kelurahan Menteng, Jakarta Pusat 10310, Indonesia, or by calling +62 857 2049 1386. Include the page address, the device or assistive technology used, and a description of the barrier if it is safe to do so. We normally acknowledge feedback within 5 business days and provide an initial response within 30 calendar days.

Some third-party content, embedded services or linked documents may not be controlled by Primula. When a practical alternative is available, we will identify it or provide the relevant information in another reasonable format. Accessibility requests are considered individually because the same content can present different barriers across browsers, screen readers, operating systems and connection conditions.

This statement was reviewed on 5 October 2026. Improvements are tracked through ordinary content and template maintenance rather than through a promise that every page will work identically in every environment. Material changes to the site's accessibility approach will be recorded in a dated revision note.

Feedback and practical alternatives

Accessible presentation includes readable contrast, meaningful headings, descriptive links, keyboard-operable controls and text alternatives for meaningful images. Older material may need review as templates and content are updated, so feedback is part of the maintenance process rather than a one-time certification.

Report a missing label, focus issue, caption concern, contrast barrier or unclear document to [email protected], Jalan Anggrek Merah 27, Kelurahan Menteng, Jakarta Pusat 10310, Indonesia, or +62 857 2049 1386. Include the page address and device or assistive technology where safe. We normally acknowledge feedback within 5 business days and respond within 30 calendar days.

Third-party embeds and linked documents may have separate accessibility limitations. Where practical, Primula will identify an alternative format or provide the relevant information through another reasonable route.
