Corrections and updates

Primula records material changes to published editorial work. This page was reviewed 5 October 2026.

A correction is considered when an error, omission or misleading formulation could affect a reader's understanding. Ordinary spelling, formatting and accessibility maintenance may be made without creating a separate public record when meaning remains unchanged.

How to report an issue

Include the page address, the sentence or claim in question, and a source or explanation where possible. Send it through contact.php or call +62 857 2049 1386.

  • Quote the exact passage rather than describing the whole page.
  • Provide a source, date or practical reason for the concern when available.
  • Do not send unnecessary personal, financial or medical information.

Review process

The editorial desk checks the original source, publication context and whether the issue changes a reader’s understanding.

  1. Log the report and acknowledge receipt.
  2. Compare the page with its source and previous version.
  3. Ask a second editor to review material findings.
  4. Publish a correction, clarification or explanation.

In practice, the desk normally acknowledges a report within 5 business days and aims to provide an initial review within 30 calendar days. A longer review may be needed when a source is unavailable, a translation requires checking or multiple pages share the same passage.

What a useful report contains

A correction request is easier to assess when it identifies the page address, the exact sentence or table cell, the reason it may be inaccurate, and a reliable source or explanation where available. Readers do not need to provide unnecessary personal information or confidential records.

Reports may concern a factual error, outdated link, unclear qualification, attribution issue, accessibility barrier or material omission. A disagreement with an interpretation is reviewed separately from a verifiable factual error, and the outcome may be a correction, clarification, editorial note or explanation that no change is warranted.

Response and record keeping

Send reports to [email protected], Jalan Anggrek Merah 27, Kelurahan Menteng, Jakarta Pusat 10310, Indonesia, or +62 857 2049 1386. Primula normally acknowledges a report within 5 business days and aims to complete an initial review within 30 calendar days. Complex matters may take longer when a source, author or technical provider must be contacted.

Correction correspondence is generally retained for up to 36 months so the publication can explain what was reviewed and why. Minor typographical changes may be made without a public note, while changes affecting meaning are normally identified on the page. This process was reviewed on 5 October 2026.
